I have a high regard for my mentors —they are truly tremendously blessed in most ways. How they dedicate their lives to God is amazing. Seeing how they work for God and emptied themselves for the Lord, brings me to a reality that God uses ordinary people to accomplish His purpose. From ordinary they become extraordinary people. They are the likes of Paul, Timothy, Mary and others but in this contemporary Hall of Fame, if there is such?
As I was blessed by their lives, it also leads me to a decision to serve God wholeheartedly. I’d been praying to God to use me as me… that decision brings out the gift that God gave… now I continue the text-devotion that Tita Cris started (it’s a short devotion via text messages that my d-group receives in their CP once or twice a month; based on the verse that I read in my quiet time)…last Sunday, for the first time, I was able to make the heart prep (a prayer prior to praise and worship songs) needed in Sunday Worship Service. I’d been constantly praying to God to continue what was left undone (I know I don’t have the knowledge on how to do those task; but with constant observation and daily learning on God’s word; eventually God granted me wisdom to scribble down the message.)
For two years, it was just a desire… now God granted it. Truly, it was a long journey before its yield. God, with out doubt, tested my faith, my heart. Now it’s time for harvest…but not the end of it, it’s still for me to use its fruit for God’s glory. I pray that I will keep the faith and finish well, by God’s grace.
