What Is It Like?

Are you intrigued by the title? Surely, it appears sketchy. You can have different infinitive phrases to complete the question. But what I have in mind is “What is it like to be married to me?” That could be one of the toughest questions to answer. I’m sure you will agree it would be easier to give your answer if the question is directed to your spouse: “What is it like being married to you?” Then you can fire away and have a very elaborate essay. The highlights can vary, either you play up and put the spotlight to the positive side of what your spouse do for you or you can expose the negative side of your marriage including his failings… I hope you won’t do the latter because it won’t be ennobling for you to do not to mention you are making your spouse suffer from the ignominy[1] brought by washing your linen in public.

Nothing but Hokum

Yeah here we go again... The next statement is one of the most over- used sentences, "Life is a cycle." It goes up and down, path may wind and bend but still it orbits around... and you will always repeat the same highs and lows.

I am running out of explanation... I challenge myself but I always arrive at the same conclusion. To fight gravity is to apply the law of aerodynamics... but not all can get a craft that will fly him off to space. In an attempt to suspend yourself in the air, you will always end up falling to the ground. Like the law of nature, there is no point to repugn the things that are bound to happen. Just take heart and face it courageously with your faith.

This piece may be just one of the few hokum thoughts I threw in the air and ended up writing a some sort of amphigory [but only in essay form].

Oh well, I am just ranting and Yes, I have been implying things that have been happening in my life... Should anyone attempt to comprehend what I am babbling about, go figure.

Quiet but not quite

I have been quiet for awhile...as usual busy working. But just to update my blog, I have a few thoughts that are bottled up inside me. There are things that are disturbing me and have been trying to alter my line of thinking. Things are just too trifling to make a ruckus out of it. But I am reminded that a forest fire starts from a small flicker- a careless one too. And whatever it is that is happening in my life, though how little it is, when it is not glorifying God, has to be rectified. Let me also correct that this is not about being holy...but this is about serving a Holy God.

To recall, God does not tolerate even that what we call gray areas. God sees black and white and no in between. God does not consent lukewarm attitudes or behavior. Most importantly, God deserves our best. He gives His best- His precious Jesus Christ. And the rightful response is to worship Him, honor Him with our behavior, our mind, in things we do and how we deal with others.

Because of this conviction, I fell flat on my face and plead God’s forgiveness. Sometimes, I can’t help but act in my old self, I tend to be morose, disparaging and dismal. Exposing myself is certainly not washing my dirty linen. It is with the purpose to encourage anybody who is also on the same boat that they too will not get discourage. We all are God’s work in progress and that though we are not yet perfect, God by His grace will not leave us nor forsake us but He is encouraging all of us to work it out. That by the grace of God we will overcome whatever challenges that may confront us.

So yeah... Let's work out our spiritual muscles.
