My son is already in grade 1 and is on Homeschool program due to his VSD. In his curriculum, he is developed to write simple compositions. He has to use books as a springboard. As his teacher, I let him use his bible for that purpose (shooting two birds using one stone)
One of his entries in his journal touched me as a Christian. He entitled his memoir “Through The Roof” because it was about the lame’s friends who dug a hole through the roof so Jesus could heal him. Jason told me “Mama, I know I won’t be sick forever. Jesus will heal me.”
At the end of the day, as I checked his work, my son’s last statement in his journal was “I pray that Jesus will heal me.”
At seven, I could not imagine my son’s faith and trust would grow that big. I truly praise God on the transformed life He made in the heart of my son. Jason has taught me so much about trusting. God has been good as always every day in our lives. Seeing my kids growing in the Lord is indeed a great blessing and so much grace from God.

I think the best decision you made is to really trust Jesus... He knows your heart and what is best for your family always. Your obedience to HIM definitely will leave a lasting legacy to your son. May God always be glorified as you go from glory to glory in jesus name!
