Trials--Hmmm? they said u better expect it for it'll surely come. Not my prophecy huh, but if u please read your bible (at least open this verse)1 Peter4:12-13 says "Dear friends, don't be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. Instead, be very glad--because these trials will make you partners with Christ in his suffering, and afterward you will have the wonderful joy of sharing his glory when it is displayed to all the world." Truly, if we are commanded not to be surprised, then expect it right?
Many of us would run away from it. We would not hit the trial and cut through it but it's either we skewed to the left/right or make a U-turn when trial is approaching us. And why not? as christians-- we have been given with the hope. Jesus promised us that he will take us to the other side? Amidst the storm, He is with us (inside the boat)Why mind the trial when u know that at the end of the trial u know u will be victorious? God will deliver us.
Amazing truth! God never promised us with good life alone, in our journey in this world, He warns us with trials but he also promised us in James 1: 12 "Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him."
As for me, the challenge may be difficult in my own physical strength yet my Rock and my Salvation's word never fails-- the road may be rough (sure is),it may be steep, may be bumpy, i may stumble-- but knowing that in the finishing line God is there. It's gonna be worth it
