I have this book from Henry Blackaby entitled "When God Speaks"... It's a pretty amazing book. Blackaby has been truly blessed by God and used his maximum potential in reachin out people like me. It does not only give you information but help you how to be transformed according to how God wants you to be.
God really spoke to me with that book. As i process the truth i learned from my reading (i also use it now as my devotional tool in my quiet time)... i also personally experience God's presence and power. He has truly revealed to me His true personality.
Knowing God in a personal way somehow depends on how you allow God to come into your life...your willingness to meet God and listen to Him in your quiet time... this is just one of the many factors that either limits or allows you to know our Creator...
The feeling of being closer to the Lord is beyond description... and i wish everyone will have the goal of knowing God personally...and as God speaks to us... i pray that we will listen and act on it.
