On Anniversary

i juz felt like senti this week... i'd been thinking of posting this thought or not-- but i'm pretty sure my husband deserves this article.

We just celebrated our 7th year wedding anniversary last monday, September 12. I thought that it would be just like the so-so day of greeting one another. Sure it's special, but my husband and i are not into romantic dates like candle light dinner. He has his ways of celebrating our anniversary.

But last monday was totally different... and how we greeted each other was so privy to tell. But in everything, i praise God for my husband... i thank God that we are 4 years happily married and in the Lord's hand. I glorify God because we both serve Him in the music ministry and youth ministry. I honor God for changing John into a new creation, alive in the Lord. My husband may not be perfect in many ways but his entire package makes me grateful to God everyday allowing us to love each other on a higher level.
I worship God for the trials that He allows us to experience together and still gracefully brings us closer as a couple, more open, more forgiving, more loving, and more selfless. I adore God also for having christian family who greeted us early in the morning through text messages...and as always been prayed for by our beloved Ptr. Bob (it has been 3 years in a row now that our Pastor prayed for thanksgiving and more blessing every anniversary, this time during our bible study). John and i have been truly blessed by God.

He is my encourager, my absorber, my best friend, my accountability partner, my co-laborer in Christ, my sandpaper too and most of all my SWEETIE in one great package from the Lord!
