TRIBUTE

I have been holding bible studies since 2002, not that I volunteered but I was asked to in her behalf…not that she didn’t want to, she had other commitment on the available time of these ladies in certain company, so not to waste the opportunities to bring them closer to God, she saw me as replacement…I didn’t know what she saw in me to be commissioned but that was the beginning of it.

Now, I have my own D-Group and am actively involved in a few ministries in our local church. I do these not to impress anyone but as my love for God…and I loved to do His Work for me. I commit myself to Him to be part of His team in reaching out people, and also minister (most specially) His growing children.

Nonetheless, I called this article tribute coz I’d like to honor my mentors. Last week, one of the ladies I am now ministering, thank me for bringing her to God, to our church…according to her—she wants to be like me (don’t fret, I redirected her to Christ) do God’s work, have bible studies, ministering, etc--- it was one of the few messages I rarely received that truly blesses me. And I couldn’t help but sent messages to my mentors whom God uses as His instrument to make me the kind of woman/child He wants me to be. Without Tita Marilou (who introduced me to Jesus), Judy Clarke, Christine Grotiendek and Helen Johansson (who made me fell in love with mission work and who stood by me when I was still a babe in Christ, carried me to be grateful on God’s grace and mercy), and most of all Tita Cris (who modeled me servanthood, showed me how to die to self and whom to anchor my faith and strength to go on serving God despite persecution, desert experiences and storms of life). Truly, I would never be this new creation that I am now who seeks God and glorifies Him alone without these faithful, patient, kind and loving mentors that God sent to me. Thank You very much! I can never share anything to anyone too if i have never experience all these things from God through these ladies. God sends His people to the one he called, so that, that person will have the true knowledge & love of Him, who created everything.

Most of all to my Sovereign God and to His Son Jesus, my Lord and Savior, who are always full of grace and mercy, that in my imperfection used me to touch people’s lives---To HIM be the Praise, Honor and Glory.
